Position Summary:
EHS Technicians perform technical duties related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) by assisting in loss control, accident prevention, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role includes developing and implementing safety programs, policies, training, and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s Degree in a Science or Technical field or specialized EHS certifications preferred
  • Wastewater operator license preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to complete specialized training in various EHS topics within 6 months of hire

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of EHS Management Systems (e.g., Gensuite)
  • Familiarity with Ergonomics and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Management of Change (MOC) evaluations and coordinate tasks with project managers
  • Assist in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
  • Develop critical inventories for risk-related items, lifting procedures, and department risk assessments
  • Facilitate ergonomic assessments and suggest workstation improvements
  • Drive EHS initiatives to promote a positive safety culture across all levels
  • Coordinate EHS improvement projects for business continuity
  • Perform EHS preventative maintenance and conduct inspection audits
  • Recommend EHS actions to improve metrics and reduce facility-wide hazards
  • Conduct daily plant walks to offer EHS compliance guidance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Implement EHS standard work processes and procedures
  • Assist in training and development of EHS programs, collecting and analyzing EHS data for compliance and continuous improvement


Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
