Project Engineer
Summary:
Project Engineer responsible for assisting the Program Manager in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing all project activities, staff, and customer interactions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physics with 7+ years of applicable experience in Project Engineering/Project Management (3+ years in Project Management), or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience
- Successful experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executing projects to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
- Ability to adjust scope and schedule based on user feedback and new requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain a US Government secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Willing to travel approximately 10-20%
Preferred Skills:
- DoD Secret or higher security clearance
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Agile project management
- Design for manufacturing experience
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering
- Experience with iterative design and development methodologies
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Manager with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quantitative management of all project activities
- Develop and maintain program plans and management baselines
- Collaborate with Lead Systems and Software Engineers to maintain the technical approach and development process
- Conduct customer reviews and advocate for customer issues, both technical and programmatic
- Manage program staffing, resources, organizational interfaces, and task scope
- Develop and conduct monthly engineering status reviews with program management and leadership
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
