Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer responsible for digital and analog circuit design, system engineering, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and maintain technical systems.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of electrical engineering design and development experience
- Experience in digital logic circuits, analog circuits, and digital audio circuits
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and schematic capture programs (Altium preferred)
- Troubleshooting skills for complex systems
- Ability to develop detailed design specifications and map design requirements
- Previous work experience with DoD and government agency programs is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with FPGA devices (Microsemi preferred)
- EMI/EMC and TEMPEST experience
- Experience with engineering development applications, including C/C++, VHDL, and LabView
- Prior experience in wireless communications
- Knowledge of systems safety engineering, reliability engineering, and maintainability engineering
- Experience with human engineering, requirements management, risk identification, and supportability planning
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop digital logic circuits, analog circuits, and digital audio circuits
- Establish and meet product requirements for performance, packaging, environmental conditions, and product verification testing
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team (hardware, mechanical, firmware, software)
- Participate in concept development, fabrication, testing, integration, and maintenance of technical systems
- Develop and manage technical performance measurement criteria
- Create detailed design specifications and map them into sub-tier documents for design, test, and verification
- Interact with technicians, consultants, engineers, and other professionals throughout the development process
Pay Details: $58.00 to $78.00 per hour
