Software Test Engineer
Responsible for releasing hardware and software design solutions for electronic components in vehicle functions or body controls, and body builder-specific functions, applicable to North American truck products.
Job Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in software testing, particularly in automotive systems
- Experience with ECU (Electronic Control Unit)
- Familiarity with SW configurations and ESW SW release processes
- Ability to work with Canalyzer tools for log file analysis and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of factory, engineering, and service tools for software downloading
- Hands-on experience with truck integration and resolving component-side issues
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PI planning and sprint-based task follow-up
- Familiarity with body ECUs and truck-specific electronic components
Job Responsibilities
- Release hardware and software solutions for electronic vehicle components
- Collaborate with global technology development teams and Tier-1 suppliers
- Track development progress and resolve issues arising from component integration
- Handle defect reports and follow processes for resolution
- Perform smoke tests on benches before delivering to integration teams
- Work with trucks for debugging and troubleshooting as necessary
Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
