Job Summary:
Supports production and engineering by troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic circuit boards and assemblies, while assisting in test station development and updates.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology with 1+ years of electrical technician work experience; OR 2-year degree with 4+ years of work experience; OR non-degree with 7+ years of electrical technician work experience
  • Proficiency in using digital test meters, oscilloscopes, RF instrumentation, and analog/digital test equipment
  • Experience with product firmware/software installation and cable construction
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics and electro-mechanical systems down to the component level
  • Familiarity with soldering techniques involving through-hole and fine-pitch SMT components
  • Ability to generate technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and construction manuals
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong writing skills for generating technical documentation and lab notes
  • Willingness to assist in drawing or modifying diagrams and writing product specifications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs electronic circuit boards used in production
  • Modifies electronic and electro-mechanical systems as required
  • Tests developmental and production-related products using appropriate test equipment
  • Builds customized test and interface units and devices
  • Collaborates with engineers to solve electrical and operational issues
  • Supports engineering in developing and updating production test stations
  • Documents, repairs, and assembles electrical systems using hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Assists in the design and development of electrical and electromechanical assemblies and equipment


Pay Details: $27.00 to $33.00 per hour
