Job Summary

Design, develop, and validate electrical control systems for a robotics facility focused on surgical stapling, with emphasis on automation, machine motion control, and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in electrical controls and automation design
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley)
  • Experience with HMI system design (Allen Bradley)
  • Proficiency in Vision System programming (Cognex)
  • Experience with data acquisition systems (LabVIEW)
  • Extensive knowledge of machine motion controls, servo, and pneumatic systems

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and program control systems using PLC, HMI, and Vision Systems
  • Perform process validation, IQ/OQ support, and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues
  • Implement safety systems and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Coordinate with vendors for validation builds and project implementation
  • Conduct gap assessments, information gathering, and control system testing
  • Develop and validate control system programs
  • Oversee project coordination and vendor interactions
  • Manage workflow closure in Agile CAP or MAP systems
  • Document engineering and validation activities and ensure remediation as needed


Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
