Summary:
Responsible for implementing new business processes and improving existing processes in the SAP Purchasing area, focusing on SAP Materials Management and related integrations.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business process analysis
  • Knowledge of SAP Materials Management with integration to MRP, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Supplier Quality, and Finance
  • Understanding of SAP Subcontracting Process
  • Knowledge of SAP Serialization, MRP, and Goods Movements
  • Understanding of MTS (Make-to-Stock), MTO (Make-to-Order) strategies, and Batch Management
  • Knowledge of Vendor Master Data, Purchasing Groups, and Purchasing Organizations
  • Expertise in Info Record, Source List, Automatic Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Stock Transport Orders
  • Knowledge of Invoicing Process and handling GR/IR discrepancies
  • Experience working with complex organizational structures

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement new business processes and enhance existing processes in the Purchasing area
  • Respond to SAP-based questions and provide desktop procedures/work instructions for SAP processes or organizational needs
  • Standardize business processes across teams and train suppliers and business users
  • Collaborate with power users in other departments on integrated process questions
  • Support role administration and perform testing to ensure successful implementation of changes
  • Escalate unresolved issues to IT and provide necessary data or business cases to support changes
  • Resolve business process and SAP-related issues in a timely manner
  • Lead and participate in business process-oriented projects for supply management and inventory processes
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and develop appropriate system solutions
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results to support business needs


Pay Details: $38.00 to $41.00 per hour
