Test Automation Tool Architect
Summary:
Responsible for ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of test automation tools used for transport refrigeration controls systems, serving as software architect for future tool planning and implementation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5 – 10 years of experience in software development, including 1 - 2 years in software testing, test automation, application development, or a related field
- Programming experience in C#.NET and/or C++ and Python
- Development experience in the Linux OS environment
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of embedded controls software development
- Experience with communications protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Zigbee, and WiFi
- Experience with software test automation tools
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of test automation tools for unit controls products
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation tools by addressing documented defects
- Serve as software architect and domain expert for future automation tool enhancements
- Provide updates on test automation project status and results to lead test engineers and management
- Make recommendations to improve the product testing process
Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
