Job Requirements:

  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in C++ and modern object-oriented design and architecture.
  • Experience developing for embedded real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, MQX, FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, or embedded Linux.

Preferred Skills:

  • Device driver development experience.
  • Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CEH).
  • Familiarity with HAIPE devices, TEMPEST design technologies, and QUADRANT design techniques.
  • Key management experience and knowledge of internet security protocols and encryption.
  • Experience with security ICs (e.g., TPM, root of trust).
  • Experience with source control repositories like Git or Clearcase.
  • Experience with test frameworks such as Google Test/Google Mock.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
  • DevOps experience (virtualization, Docker, scripting, automation).
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, compilers, and application execution.
  • Experience with low-level drivers and hardware interfaces (ISO7816, USB, I2C, SPI).
  • Familiarity with trusted store, QEMU, TCP/IP/UDP, RS-485, and RS-232.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, design, build, and troubleshoot secure embedded software products.
  • Apply information assurance principles to achieve security certifications and accreditations.
  • Engage in the full project lifecycle from bid and proposal through development, testing, deployment, and engineering support.
  • Design secure network architectures and develop solutions that meet secure coding guidelines or standards.


Pay Details: $90.00 to $100.00 per hour
