Job Summary
Seeking a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and solving complex engineering problems, particularly in military or commercial environments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design from concept to fabrication
  • Proficiency in creating solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems (preferably PTC Pro-E or CREO)
  • Familiarity with GD&T Y14.5 (2009 or 2018) and tolerance stack analysis
  • Ability to solve complex technical design and development problems

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in military equipment design and MIL-STDS
  • Familiarity with military and commercial design standards
  • Knowledge of computer applications and technologies in engineering disciplines

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical products including ammunition handling systems, gun systems, missile launchers, and other devices
  • Perform technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of engineering problems using specialized equipment and computer programs
  • Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, models, and test results to ensure compliance with engineering standards and product requirements
  • Develop technical documentation, make revisions, and provide input to technical papers or presentations
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
  • Conceptualize, create, and analyze designs to meet technical, cost, quality, and performance requirements
  • Conduct technical presentations and maintain external contacts with industry experts
  • Prepare technical and cost proposals related to engineering projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry practices, trends, and advancements in engineering disciplines
  • May direct the work of less senior personnel and ensure compliance with safety policies


Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
