Job Posting: Controls Engineer

Seeking a Controls Engineer with expertise in mechanical design and engineering to support operations in automotive manufacturing and related sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply controls engineering and mechanical design knowledge to force analysis, standardization, processing, and CAD models
  • Review CAD models using required software and ensure accuracy
  • Conduct cause and effect analysis, R&M, SPC, and FMEA for projects
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Write routine reports and correspondence
  • Communicate effectively with customers and employees in group settings
  • Perform mathematical calculations related to probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, and practical situations
  • Solve problems using variables in standardized situations
  • Work on assigned projects requiring travel as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or three to five years of relevant experience in areas such as BIW, Chassis/Glass, or Special Welding, or a combination of education and experience
  • Competence in controls engineering, force analysis, and mechanical design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to review CAD models using AutoCAD and/or NX

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing
  • Familiarity with FMEA, SPC, and R&M analysis
  • Willingness to travel


Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
