Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and implementing new medical device products, improving existing product lines, and supporting Design History File (DHF) documentation while focusing on plastics, polymers, and medical disposables.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in medical device product development and design controls

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Biomedical Engineering

  • Experience with plastics, polymers, molding, and medical disposables

  • Solid modeling experience; SolidWorks proficiency is a plus

  • Knowledge of medical grade plastics and injection molding principles

  • Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) and basic statistical methods

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of products from concept to production

  • Develop product requirements to meet customer and business needs, adhering to international standards and regulations

  • Utilize SolidWorks to design and model components for medical devices

  • Evaluate parts and products for efficiency and reliability

  • Provide technical support on components, materials, and systems

  • Develop test procedures and execute engineering and validation studies

  • Write, review, and approve protocols, reports, and testing data

  • Conduct failure investigations and ensure compliance with regulations

Pay: 36-48

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
