Embedded Linux Driver Engineer
Seeking an Embedded Linux Driver Engineer with experience in Linux drivers and proficiency in embedded C++ programming.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in embedded Linux driver design and debugging.
  • Experience with PCI, network, and I2C Linux drivers.
  • Familiarity with embedded C++ programming.
  • Experience using Git for source code repository and Agile for task tracking.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Person.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of radio communication protocols.
  • Ability to perform software tradeoff analyses and determine design implementation.
  • Experience coordinating with hardware design engineers for system solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and troubleshoot embedded Linux drivers for PCI, network, and I2C systems.
  • Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications.
  • Create, test, and troubleshoot software to meet design requirements.
  • Coordinate tasks with other departments to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Perform tradeoff analyses for software and hardware design decisions.
  • Conduct tests to verify that designs meet specifications and ensure product compliance.
  • Prepare design reviews and ensure completion of documentation for production introduction.
  • Assist in project task estimation and schedule planning.
  • Introduce new technology and define standards for engineering tasks as needed.


Pay Details: $52.00 to $69.00 per hour
