Job Summary:

Seeking a Tableau Administrator responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining Tableau software while providing technical support and solutions for the Business Intelligence team.

Job Requirements:

  • 18+ Years of experience with HS diploma, 14+ Years with AA, 12+ Years with BS, 10+ Years with MS, or 7+ Years with PhD
  • Experience developing customized solutions within the Tableau platform
  • 3-5 years of Tableau development experience
  • 3-5 years of SQL experience
  • Knowledge of Tableau Server commands such as synchronization, Tabadmin, Tabcmd, and backup activity

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certified Tableau Server Associate or Server Admin
  • Experience integrating Tableau visualizations into web applications
  • Knowledge of complex business systems integration from various data sources

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Tableau software and server components
  • Monitor and optimize Tableau server performance, availability, and capacity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tableau-related issues, such as data access and dashboard loading
  • Provide system administration support for user permissions, security settings, and custom objects
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability
  • Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards, and assist in resolving workbook performance issues
  • Provide technical guidance on best practices and issue resolution for the Tableau developer community
  • Present insights to business audiences and collaborate on new feature development


Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
