Controls Engineer
Job Summary:
Design, program, simulate, and commission machine control systems using PLC/HMI solutions, with a focus on ensuring functionality and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Technical Associate's degree (EET, MET, Industrial Automation)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with AutoCAD for schematic and panel design
- Willingness to travel 20-30% domestically and internationally
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with VFDs, servos, power supplies, sensors, switches, motors, safety components, and other control devices
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and program machine control systems using PLC/HMI solutions
- Simulate, test, and debug machine control systems in-house
- Check out and commission systems at end user facilities
- Create customer-focused solutions and programs
- Maintain project timelines and budgets
- Size and select equipment for machines, including control devices
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
