IT Support Technician
Summary: Seeking a Contract IT Support Partner to provide tier II IT support for end-user issues, focusing on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving IT technology issues within an office and manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
- Broad technical IT knowledge and awareness of industry trends.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (2016/M365) and Microsoft Software (SharePoint, Teams, Visio).
- PC hardware troubleshooting experience (Dell).
- Experience with printer desktop/multifunction devices (Xerox, Zebra).
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform.
- Experience in operational excellence, including root cause analysis, process improvement, risk reduction, security controls, and change management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite break/fix support for PCs, multifunction printers, barcode scanners, and other devices in office and manufacturing environments.
- Perform technical, administrative, and support work in the installation and operation of new and existing PC systems.
- Execute defined client computing lifecycle processes, including unboxing, configuring, installing software, and managing data transfers.
- Assist with support of business/sector-specific infrastructure and network/server infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and collaborate with IT team members to resolve user support issues.
- Follow and promote defined ticket management procedures, utilizing standard ticket management tools.
- Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle, including inventory management and disposal, with updates in ServiceNow during every lifecycle change event.
- Support software patching, OS servicing, risk remediation, PCI requirements, and other client deployments.
- Assist customers with Microsoft 365 email and Teams on Android and iOS.
- Provide training to employees on company hardware and software as needed.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
