Job Summary:
Seeking an EHS Specialist with regulatory knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standard 1910 and EPA RCRA, experienced in developing EHS programs and conducting training.

Job Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Safety or related field

  • Regulatory knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standard 1910 and EPA RCRA

  • Experience in developing EHS programs and delivering training

  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis and risk assessments

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with pollution prevention activities and compliance auditing

  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and documentation

  • Experience in evaluating proposed regulations for impact on financial, industrial, public, and environmental factors

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, administer, and implement environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements

  • Monitor pollution prevention activities and compliance efforts as needed

  • Conduct studies and prepare environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes, and permit changes

  • Review and analyze environmental documentation from federal, state, and local regulatory agencies

  • Interact with regulators to resolve compliance issues and establish permit requirements

  • Assist in regulatory audits and represent the company in government and industry rulemaking activities

  • Ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken where environmental, health, and safety hazards exist

  • Provide and promote employee awareness and training on EHS matters

Pay: 29-39

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
