Seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring maximum quality and cost-effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • College degree required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution operations, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, cycle counting, order picking, and shipping processes
  • Experience with Oracle and/or Dematic systems highly preferred
  • Union workforce experience
  • Lean background

Preferred Skills

  • Previous management experience with teams of 15-30 people
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Creativity in discovering new and effective methods

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise Distribution Center operations to drive productivity, quality, and safety
  • Develop and implement continual improvement projects
  • Actively participate in performance evaluations, team member relations, and development
  • Allocate labor distribution in Dematic WMS and monitor work volume
  • Monitor front line team performance and address issues
  • Ensure all critical orders are complete to ship out by 19:00
  • Release additional work in the Dematic system as necessary
  • Record daily metric performance on MDI board
  • Adapt to changing or competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
  • Manage activities requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, conveyors, or vehicles
  • Occasionally lift objects up to 40 pounds and engage in frequent walking/standing throughout the day


Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
