Summary: Seeking a Systems Design Engineer with specialized experience in HVAC products to lead design and component integration for Modular Chiller product lines.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred).
  • 3+ years of engineering work experience.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems including refrigeration, heat transfer, and airflow.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Design or application experience with HVAC products.
  • Proficiency in thermodynamic computations, pressure vessel design, and compressor, motor, controls, or heat transfer technologies.
  • Knowledge of Data & Analytics and programming skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Model system performance and innovate new technology for future products.
  • Validate ideas and system performance in the laboratory.
  • Support product design and integration across functional resource groups including Compressor Engineering, Thermal Systems Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Manufacturing.
  • Develop test plans, conduct and support lab testing, perform data analysis, and review to identify discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Calibrate performance models with Modeling Engineers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during the validation process.
  • Apply engineering knowledge to perform Chiller Performance Modeling to simulate and predict unit performance.
  • Conduct design FMEAs and develop and execute risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure Chiller System Performance, Reliability, and Quality.


Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour
