Summary: Seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality standards and protocols for advanced heart pump systems, ensuring efficient failure analysis and product improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in failure analysis of devices/components with alleged malfunctions
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Circulatory Support systems, specifically LVADs
  • Experience with quality standards implementation in medical device manufacturing

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in complex product analysis and investigations
  • Capability to develop and implement methods and procedures for product analysis
  • Expertise in engineering project management to improve analysis and investigation processes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Modify and maintain quality protocols for post-market analysis of heart pump systems
  • Perform and direct complex failure analysis to determine root causes of device malfunctions
  • Collaborate with multiple functions to ensure comprehensive returned product investigations
  • Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation complies with regulatory requirements
  • Complete detailed reviews of log files and system testing results to correlate events with mechanical issues
  • Generate detailed investigation reports and obtain necessary release approvals


Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
