Summary: Seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to construct gradient power systems and perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks using hand tools and equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent education

  • 4+ years of related experience

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints

  • Skilled in using common hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with both automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment

  • Knowledge of soldering techniques for parts as a secondary operation (non SMT)

  • Familiarity with Agile for checking document revisions against BOM or assembly drawings

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical assembly of medium complexity items using basic procedures, tools, and fasteners

  • Prepare for assembly by cutting wire to size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts; wiring; fastening terminal connections

  • Assemble/install various electrical/electronic components based on blueprints, wire lists, diagrams or established practices

  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment when necessary

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Additional Information:

  • Position is for a 9/80 work schedule including every other Friday off

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour
