Director of Accounting

Summary: Seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, and tax processes.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. A master's degree is a plus.

• 15+ years of relevant experience in an accounting role with 5+ years in a leadership role required.

• CPA highly desired

• Strong understanding of GAAP with IFRS knowledge a plus

• Understanding of IRS corporate tax code

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions, reporting, and compliance with IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.

• Guide the preparation and issuance of internal and external reports on a timely basis.

• Drive the month-end and year-end close processes.

• Create an internal controls framework including a testing environment to ensure controls are functioning as intended.

• Manage all US corporate tax decisions.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
