Engineering Technician - Tech Services Department
Summary: Seeking an Engineering Technician to support sales and engineering teams with technical documentation and quotes for chimney exhaust and kitchen grease duct systems.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Prior experience in estimating, quoting, or mechanical drafting
Preferred Skills:
Experience in commercial or industrial HVAC industry
Understanding of UL and NFPA regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with ERP or quoting software
Responsibilities:
Review project specifications and mechanical plans for material and design requirements
Provide accurate quotations based on customer requirements
Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Collaborate with sales team to ensure designs meet expectations and compliance standards
Assist customers with product selection and technical inquiries
Maintain understanding of relevant codes and standards
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
