Senior Commissioning Authority
Commissioning Engineer role responsible for project-specific commissioning planning, site visits, performance reviews, and compliance verification.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in preparing project-specific commissioning scopes and budgets
- Ability to review documents for constructability and commission-ability
- Knowledge of commissioning plans, including narratives, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance tests
- Experience reviewing contractor submittals for contract compliance
- Ability to analyze performance trends and review test and balance (TAB) reports
Preferred Skills:
- Experience reviewing training and O&M materials provided by contractors
- Strong technical writing skills for preparing final commissioning reports
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage commissioning scope of services and budget estimates for projects
- Conduct peer reviews of design and construction documents to ensure commission-ability
- Review and verify completeness of commissioning plans and related documents
- Schedule and coordinate commissioning site visits and deliverables
- Travel to active project sites to perform commissioning activities safely and professionally
- Compose and issue commissioning site visit reports
- Analyze system performance trends and review test and balance (TAB) reports
- Review contractor-provided training and O&M materials for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare final commissioning reports for completed projects
Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
