Electrical Designer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD Electrical for developing and preparing comprehensive electrical design packages.

• Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Drafting Design Technology or equivalent experience/degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of related drafting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in industrial control system design.
  • Experience in control panel layout design.

• Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complete electrical design packages including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables.
  • Develop or assist in the development of control circuits for instrument components, logic controllers, and relays.
  • Check detailed sketches and drawings for project applicability and optimal construction.
  • Revise lists, drawings, and BOM consistent with engineering changes.
  • Assemble information and reference drawings from a variety of sources.
  • Ensure accuracy of completed drawings before final release; verify compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Check field red-lined drawings and generate accurate as-built drawings as needed.
  • Utilize engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documents in designing parts or system configurations.
  • Maintain proper file management according to company and industry standards.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour
