Electrical Designer
Summary: Seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with expertise in AutoCAD Electrical for developing and preparing comprehensive electrical design packages.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Drafting Design Technology or equivalent experience/degree preferred.
- 7+ years of related drafting experience.
- 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in industrial control system design.
- Experience in control panel layout design.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare complete electrical design packages including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables.
- Develop or assist in the development of control circuits for instrument components, logic controllers, and relays.
- Check detailed sketches and drawings for project applicability and optimal construction.
- Revise lists, drawings, and BOM consistent with engineering changes.
- Assemble information and reference drawings from a variety of sources.
- Ensure accuracy of completed drawings before final release; verify compliance with company and industry standards.
- Check field red-lined drawings and generate accurate as-built drawings as needed.
- Utilize engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documents in designing parts or system configurations.
- Maintain proper file management according to company and industry standards.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour
