Manufacturing Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to optimize manufacturing methods and processes through CNC programming, tooling, and fixturing.
Requirements:
- 2-year technical degree in CNC programming/machining or High School diploma/GED with 7 years of experience.
- 5 years' experience with CAM Programming software (e.g., GibbsCAM, Mastercam).
- Experience in metal fabrication production environment.
- Skilled in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience specifically with GibbsCAM and ProNest.
- Hands-on experience with CNC Machining, Lathes, and Plasma Cutting Tables.
Responsibilities:
- Generate CAM Programs for CNC Mills, Lathes, and Plasma Cutting Tables.
- Develop investment strategies for upgrading assets or procuring new technologies.
- Lead on Technical Machining issues including equipment selection and run speeds.
- Provide technical information on manufacturing techniques/technologies.
- Maintain and update CAM software packages.
Pay Details: $70.00 to $80.00 per hour
