Controls Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and industrial controls systems for manufacturing environments, ideally with automotive experience.
Requirements:
- AS or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience.
- Experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming.
- Experience with hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan is a plus.
- Ability to program/write code/ladder logic from scratch.
- Prior experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of multiple PLC brands such as Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.
- Proficiency with field bus networks like DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet.
Responsibilities:
- Create and commission industrial controls systems and PLC software designs.
- Develop PLC/HMI code and conduct on-site debugging and commissioning.
- Program peripheral devices and coordinate machine validation with teams.
- Design systems to meet customer specifications using standard techniques.
- Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
