Summary: Seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and industrial controls systems for manufacturing environments, ideally with automotive experience.

  • Requirements:

    • AS or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience.
    • Experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming.
    • Experience with hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan is a plus.
    • Ability to program/write code/ladder logic from scratch.
    • Prior experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of multiple PLC brands such as Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.
    • Proficiency with field bus networks like DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Create and commission industrial controls systems and PLC software designs.
    • Develop PLC/HMI code and conduct on-site debugging and commissioning.
    • Program peripheral devices and coordinate machine validation with teams.
    • Design systems to meet customer specifications using standard techniques.
    • Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.


Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
