Summary: Seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier quality activities, including development, qualification, and management of suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
  • Experience with cast and machined components production
  • Strong knowledge of facility audits and QMS guidelines
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and related software
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office, Minitab, etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Working knowledge of measuring equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Supplier Qualification Process for new and existing suppliers
  • Support supplier quality management system elements
  • Assist suppliers with understanding product specifications
  • Lead supplier corrective actions for internal/external failures
  • Develop suppliers with Global Quality Assurance Engineering group
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Conduct trend analysis and establish supplier quality metrics
  • Communicate periodically with internal customers regarding quality objectives


Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
