Summary: Seeking a skilled Machinist to operate CNC and manual machining equipment, ensuring high-quality part production within tolerance requirements.

Requirements:

  • 2-year Machining degree or High School degree with 3 years equivalent machining experience
  • Ability to read design prints, understand GD&T, and surface finish requirements
  • Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and various lathes, drilling machines, grinders
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and ability to make basic edits
  • Familiarity with operating key-seaters, broaches, band saws, sanding equipment, grinders
  • Understanding of carbide tooling and machining feeds/speeds
  • Certification eligibility for overhead/jib crane operation and forklift

Responsibilities:

  • Machine parts using CNC and manual machines within tolerance standards
  • Apply GD&T principles to design prints and ensure surface finish quality
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on setup, machining, tooling
  • Review design specifications for accuracy; resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Follow routing information for machining sequence/methods
  • Perform machine/equipment preventative maintenance
  • Utilize electric/pneumatic hand tools; deburr/hand clean parts
  • Complete QA/customer documentation; maintain clean work area
  • Operate forklift/pallet jack/overhead/jib crane for material handling
  • Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities; comply with ISO/OSHA/EPA regulations


Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
