Summary: Seeking a commercial estimating professional for mechanical and plumbing projects with expertise in accurate estimation, proposal preparation, and project management.

Job Requirements:

  • Identify, quantify, and record piping and equipment for various mechanical systems

  • Review bid documents and seek clarifications to ensure accurate bids

  • Proficiency in budgeting, unit pricing, pipe sizing, code compliance, and layout of Plumbing, Piping, and HVAC Duct Systems

  • Ability to concurrently bid/manage multiple projects

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with pipe takeoff software such as Quickpen / Autobid

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble detailed estimates with appropriate material, labor & subcontractor selections

  • Survey potential projects to identify best pricing solutions

  • Evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals for compliance with job specifications

  • Estimate HVAC and plumbing projects to meet profit guidelines and project requirements

  • Provide conceptual design and pricing for HVAC and plumbing systems

  • Complete system take-offs per company processes

Pay: 50-55

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
