Summary: Seeking a CNC Applications Engineer with a strong background in CNC/Machining to provide technical expertise, customer support, and machine programming.

Job Requirements:

  • Two-year Degree or formal coursework in applications.

  • Experience in Machine Tool programming, setup, and modification.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel; must maintain a valid passport.

  • Knowledge of statistical process evaluation criteria (e.g., CPK) and geometric tolerances.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design, and develop processes for machine tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background with Okuma CNC Machines (ideal but not required).

  • Business writing and documentation skills.

  • Project Management skills.

  • PC literate with proficiency in job-related software/programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to internal/external customers ensuring customer development, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Perform machine setup, programming, and run offs; design machine programming processes to create parts.

  • Offer customer training on machine operations and basic troubleshooting both on-site and in-house.

  • Provide applications troubleshooting phone support as required; track unresolved technical issues.

  • Travel regionally (mostly surrounding states of PA) for customer support; occasional out-of-state or out-of-country travel required.

  • Assist at trade shows and company-sponsored technical training seminars.

  • Maintain records including documentation for machine and programming processes.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
