Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer - PE to join the MEP Engineering Division, responsible for preparing construction drawings and specifications, coordinating with mechanical engineers/designers, running load calculations, and reviewing shop drawings.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in designing commercial/office/retail/industrial facility projects

  • Proficient in AutoCAD / AutoCAD MEP

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Good knowledge of industry standards, practices, and codes

  • Ability to direct a team of designers and support personnel

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (Texas)

  • NCEES registration (or ability to acquire within 6 months)

  • 1-2 years of experience in designing commercial, retail, light industrial, medical office, education, and emergency power systems

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design lighting and power systems for new constructions and renovations

  • Create plans, schematics, perform calculations for equipment selections, provide systems narratives and specifications

  • Create detailed panel schedules, one-line diagrams, risers, and lighting fixture schedules

  • Review drawings for quality control

  • Perform field investigations and construction administration

  • Represent the company at owner/architect/contractor meetings

  • Mentor and direct a team of designers and support personnel



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
