Summary: Seeking a Plant Manager with extensive experience in manufacturing environment to oversee all plant operations ensuring production, maintenance, and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership skills and experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts

Preferred Skills:

  • BS Degree

  • Experience in the metals and coil coating industry

  • Experience in steel, aluminum or heavy industrial production environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping/receiving

  • Coordinate activities through planning with operation managers to meet manufacturing objectives timely and cost-effectively

  • Supervise production personnel to ensure maximum production and quality levels

  • Achieve production plan within budgeted costs for fiscal year

  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance standards for production and quality

  • Control labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses

  • Maintain existing plant facilities/equipment; recommend replacements as needed

  • Provide leadership and training to meet company goals

  • Implement preventative maintenance programs

  • Enforce plant cleanliness and organization

  • Ensure proper safety orientation/training for employees; investigate accidents to eliminate causes



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
