Mechanical Project Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer responsible for mechanical design, project management, and technical support for capital projects in an industrial plant environment.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.

Proficiency in Solidworks; AutoCAD or Draftsight 2D preferred.
-
Experience with document management systems (PLM); Team Center preferred.
-
Knowledge of OSHA, ASME, ANSI, ISO standards.
-
Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, piping and fitting.
-
Experience with lifting devices and motor-reducer combinations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office apps.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with mechanics of materials, stress analysis and FEA.

Knowledge of measurement and vision systems.
-
Understanding of advanced technologies like robotics, AGV, ASRS, AI.

Project Team Leadership or Project Management experience.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide mechanical engineering design including machine specification and component selection.

Adhere to mechanical design standards in all equipment designs.

Create budget estimates and bid packages for projects.

Facilitate procurement of equipment and materials for projects.
-
Manage mechanical contractors during equipment modifications & installations through start-up and commissioning.

Liaise between facility engineering, central quality teams, purchasing teams, and equipment suppliers.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
