Summary: Seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead the development, planning, and execution of product packaging concepts and solutions for new and existing products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design packaging solutions for new products that meet Engineering, Quality, and customer needs.

  • Develop and implement packaging procedures, testing, and standards.

  • Evaluate current packaging solutions with global stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate with global packaging supply base and Sourcing to address issues and implement changes.

  • Assist in evaluating packaging suppliers.

  • Serve as the technical lead for packaging suppliers.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven history of packaging design and implementation.

  • Ability to manage various tasks and assignments across multiple projects.

  • Ability to evaluate complex problems, consider stakeholder needs, and propose solutions.

  • Packaging Engineering degree or 2-4 years prior experience in packaging design within manufacturing and R&D environments.

  • Ability to develop processes and procedures and train various groups on implementation.

  • Proficient in various computer applications including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project management skills.

  • Presentation skills.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $46.00 per hour
