Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in Medium/High Voltage systems to lead projects from design to commissioning in an industrial plant environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Medium and High Voltage applications

  • Knowledge of electrical design standards, NEC regulations, and NFPA 70E standards

  • Experience with Project Management or Project Coordination preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Rockwell configuration, programming, and communication

  • Familiarity with control systems network interfaces and various communication protocols (Data-Highway +, ControlNet, Ethernet)

  • Vision System configuration for width measurement and defect detection (Cognex, Keyence, Adept, Bytewise, Gocator)

  • Robotic experience (Fanuc, ABB)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete the Medium/High Voltage Electrical portion of Plant Capital and expense projects

  • Assist management with pre-studies of deployment and development in the Electrical field

  • Execute design studies, manage detailed design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup of equipment

  • Provide technical project specifications and detailed design packages from internal/external engineering providers

  • Provide estimates and technical schedules for equipment additions/replacements/upgrades

  • Support plant maintenance teams on new equipment/systems as needed

  • Work with Purchasing for parts/services procurement

  • Negotiate schedules and work relations with Utility providers

  • Participate in major capital projects/modifications from start to finish

  • Deliver completed documentation and as-built drawing packages

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $55.00 to $63.00 per hour
