Summary: Seeking a Hardware Engineer with expertise in high-speed data, electronics design, and product development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-speed hardware engineering role

  • Proficiency with electronic design and analysis tools (Altium PCB, ADS, Ansys Designer, Ansys HFSS)

  • Experience with cable/cable assembly designs (high speed twin-ax cables, DAC cables, active copper cables)

  • Experience with high speed test equipment (Digital Sampling Oscilloscope, Vector Network Analyzer, Bit Error Rate Tester, TDR, Pattern Generators, Power Supplies)

  • Knowledge of signal conditioning techniques (equalization, amplification)

  • Experience with component selection, schematic capture, PCB design and fabrication

  • Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with embedded systems and ANSI C

  • Familiarity with SFF/IEEE specifications for high-speed cable assemblies

  • Familiarity with PAM4/8 and other higher-order modulation techniques

  • Background in Six Sigma methodologies or strong data analytics

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert in high-speed data electronics design through product development cycles

  • Establish electrical design performance/functional requirements for new products

  • Develop high-speed cable assemblies from conception to manufacturing

  • Conduct component selection, schematic design, PCB layout and product validation testing

  • Create actionable recommendations based on design reviews and simulation results

  • Make data-driven decisions about product functionality and improvements



Pay Details: $86.00 to $115.00 per hour
