Summary: Seeking a SCADA Technician to install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for power distribution and generation facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

  • Previous experience with Power SCADA systems in a field technician role is highly desirable

  • Proficiency in PLC ladder logic, scripting, protection relay configuration and familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ or Python

  • Familiarity with SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE Proficy, Siemens WinCC)

  • Must have personal vehicle for local travel

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components

  • Ability to train up or accommodate earlier career individuals

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and commission SCADA systems

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including software updates and system backups

  • Monitor SCADA systems for performance issues and troubleshoot problems

  • Provide training and technical support to end-users

  • Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition and recommend solutions

  • Document installation procedures, maintenance logs, and troubleshooting steps

  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while working in field environments

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies related to power SCADA systems



Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
