Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineer to design, develop, and integrate automation solutions for laptop processing workflows.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's with strong experience considered).

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering focused on production line automation.

  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies, mechanical systems, and robotics.

  • Experience with conveyor systems, inline machines, and industrial automation.

  • Proven ability to design and integrate complex automated systems.

  • Strong experience with automated vision/scanning systems (e.g., Cognex).

  • Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing project timelines and budgets.

  • Ability to think creatively about process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current laptop processing workflow focusing on add-on services phase.

  • Research and evaluate existing automation solutions for asset tagging, UV printing, laser etching, etc.

  • Design custom automation solutions where necessary.

  • Integrate automated systems into a cohesive production line ensuring seamless operation.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align automation solutions with business goals.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated systems for efficiency and reliability.

  • Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to source necessary equipment/materials.

  • Stay informed about latest developments in automation technologies and manufacturing processes.

  • Create documentation and guides for users/maintenance personnel.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
