Maintenance Manager
Summary: Seeking a Maintenance Manager with expertise in manufacturing maintenance, CMMS, and heavy industrial production environments.
Job Requirements:
BS Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
CMMS experience (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Experience in a heavy industrial production environment
Strong technical troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
Organizational & time-management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in steel or aluminum production environment
UNION experience
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise daily work, schedules, and CMMS operations in the Maintenance Department
Provide technical support through training and troubleshooting for maintenance and manufacturing personnel
Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer specifications, blueprints, and schematics
Guide and share knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining, and fabrication processes
Assign and supervise daily work schedules; maintain employee records including vacations and absenteeism
Manage CMMS operations including PM systems, work orders, spare part inventory programs; track results
Initiate Continuous Improvement programs; ensure compliance with OSHA procedures
Conduct hiring, counseling, discipline performance appraisals; assign/prioritize work for subordinates
Lead around-the-clock activities of subordinate supervisors; provide coaching to achieve goals
Maintain high housekeeping standards in all supervised areas
Supervise contract services for security and janitorial needs
Manage vendor base to ensure quality product availability at minimized costs
Oversee storeroom supplies related to repair & maintenance; manage procurement activities via requisitions
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
