Summary: Seeking a Sr FPGA Engineer with expertise in RTL coding, simulation, and hardware troubleshooting for innovative product development.

Job Requirements:

  • BS or MS Degree preferably in Electrical Engineering

  • Strong RTL coding/simulation/debug capabilities using VHDL and/or Verilog (VHDL preferred)

  • Experience with RTL simulation, Synthesis, and Static Timing Analysis in toolsets like Xilinx Vivado, Altera/Intel Quartus

  • Knowledge of CCA design specifying mixed-signal technology circuits

  • Schematic capture experience in Cadence OrCad desirable

  • Experience with networking protocols including PCIe, 1G/10G Ethernet, 1394, Fibre Channel

  • Skills in troubleshooting hardware/firmware issues using software and hardware tools

  • Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC-429 highly desirable

  • Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to ITAR compliance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement innovative approaches and develop clear design specifications for market success

  • Lead engineering teams through architectural level design documents and decision processes

  • Perform original hardware design and distill large-scale designs into manageable elements

  • Develop plans, schedules, and resources for product development from requirements to release

  • Conceive methods for achieving product requirements using appropriate hardware architecture

  • Provide support for maintaining existing products by resolving defects and creating documentation

  • Research and implement new methods to improve quality and performance of products

Pay: 140000-180000
