Automation Engineer
Summary: Seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in managing systems engineering for automation and computer systems to enhance safety, quality, and cost objectives in a manufacturing unit.
Job Requirements:
BS Degree in Electrical, Computer, Software Engineering or related field
Experience in an IT environment
Experience controlling process networks in an industrial environment
Proficiency with SQL Server / SQL programming and relational databases
Strong experience in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture
Windows OS management and configuration in a networked manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of TCP/IP networks
HMI/SCADA systems experience
Wonderware HMI experience
Experience building client/server applications
Multi-threaded applications development
Responsibilities:
Maintain existing automated systems
Plan and conduct projects independently using mature engineering knowledge
Apply advanced technology to solve complex engineering problems
Conduct special study programs involving complex technical data
Support manufacturing by collaborating with Operations, Engineering, and Process Groups
Direct vendors and consultants
Participate in equipment, operator, and maintenance training programs
Engage with external operations research groups as necessary
Stay updated with evolving technology to improve process control, automation, and management systems
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
