Summary: Seeking a mid to senior level Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and industrial control systems.

Job Requirements:

  • AS or BS in Engineering (Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar) or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience

  • 2+ years of experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley (Controllogix, RSLogix, Studio 5000) or Siemens Step 7 (TIA Portal, WinCC)

  • Proficient in programming/writing code/ladder logic from scratch

  • ITAR work regulations compliance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other PLC platforms such as Omron, Mitsubishi

  • Knowledge of hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan

  • Familiarity with field bus networks like DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet

  • Prior experience in automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and commission industrial controls systems including PLC software design and HMI screens

  • Develop and install PLC/HMI code; debug on job site; commission complete system

  • Program peripheral devices and machine PLCs; coordinate machine debug and validation with teams

  • Ensure systems meet customer specifications using standard techniques

  • Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of systems



Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
