Summary: Seeking a Robot Engineer with expertise in ABB robot programming for a short-term project involving simulation, advanced programming, and on-site commissioning.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of ABB's Robot Studio with the ability to perform basic simulations

  • Proficiency in writing ABB robot programs from scratch

  • Capability in position teaching and debugging programming

  • At least 2 years of experience working with robotics

  • Ability to read Electrical and Pneumatic Prints

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Very proficient with Robotic Path Teaching

  • Complete understanding of Cartesian coordinate system for robots

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka robots (two preferred)

  • Advanced Programming skills in at least one robotic system

  • Setup and training experience on Vision Systems

  • Knowledge of various robot communication protocols (DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, Ethernet IP)

  • Experience creating robotic simulations if applying as a Simulation Engineer

  • Experience with Vision Systems is advantageous

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write Robot Software and Load Robot Programs; configure I/O as necessary

  • Conduct Path Teaching and Vision Teaching if required

  • Provide Debug Support alongside the team

  • Offer Installation Start-Up support

  • Deliver Production Support during the project duration

Education:

Associates or Bachelor of Science in BSEE, BSEET, BS Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechatronics or equivalent experience.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
