Junior Project Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Project Engineer, Jr. to coordinate engineering activities, ensuring project design and production meet the required standards and schedules.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

• Experience in Commercial and Military Programs is beneficial.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, ABS, DVN, USCG, and Marine Standard Practices.

• Diverse engineering knowledge with experience in shipbuilding and production processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to chair meetings to review design statuses and resolve pending issues.

• Expertise in maintaining project design records such as Class/Owner submittals and correspondence files.

• Experience with Purchase Technical Specifications/Technical Reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly design meetings to discuss issues, assign actions for items not meeting the plan.

• Manage project design documentation effectively.

• Liaise with engineering discipline leads to define scope, delegate tasks, ensure schedule compliance, and provide reporting.

Other Information:

• Position accepts US Citizens and Green Card holders only.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
